Politically Incorrect
Every now and then, we need a place to say those things that you just can’t when you at dinner at your in-laws, or maybe at your boss’ summer BBQ. I don’t have issues with rage and I’m not aiming to make this site a Rant ‘n rave blog. My aim here is to simply state certain things that are obvious to me but always to others. Sometimes what I say may go against the mainstream, but I’m not here for a love fest. I’m honest and in this world, that can sometimes be a bad thing.
To start with, I’m a displaced North American living in Europe. I’ve been here for 6months now, long enough that I can actually make some assertions about both Europeans and the life we left back across the Ocean. I’m not here to bash anyone, be it European or American, we do things differently, we think differently, etc., that’s fine. However, it can make for interesting moments in the street or market.
As for me more specifically, I’m married with a newborn, as many know, that in itself is a challenge. I’m certain more than a few of my postings will have to do with things babies, or people with (or not) babies do.
I make my living working for a huge corporation as a web programmer. My days tend to remind me of every Dilbert strip Ive ever seen, but someone needs to pay my bills.
For the above reasons, I decided to open this site. I hope that people will feel welcome to respond to things I’ve said and perhaps we can actually have a useful dialog.
